Kenya AA has a bright citrus acidity balanced on a great body, the deep black current notes make for an incredibly long finish on the palate. Kenya has long been recognized as one of the top coffee producing countries in Africa. The temperate climate and acidic soil of the mountain plateaus produces hardy coffee plants. This, combined with highly educated small farmers, organized trade and research facilities dedicated to coffee production, has moved Kenya to the forefront of world class quality coffee growers.
The AA designation refers to the size of the individual coffee bean. It is often thought that the larger the bean the higher the quality. It has been shown that the larger beans product a more complex flavor than the smaller designated AB coffee beans.
