Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee has a strong vibrant taste leaning to the earthy side but with subtle notes that some have called chocolaty or even fruity on occasion. These oddly shaped coffee beans possess a unique grayish color in their green state. Thousands of small farms replace the modern large plantations in Ethiopia, and the coffee is grown according to traditional organic* methods and still hand picked and processed.
We roast Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee to a medium roast to preserve the subtle notes that are often lost when these beans are roasted “dark”.

*Many of the above mentioned Ethiopian farms are too poor to pay for their Organic Certification and thus are not Certified Organic. Wilkinson’s of Norwich USA is not selling this item as Certified Organic, however we do know how this coffee is grown and we feel that it is an important fact to mention.
