Colombia Excelso E.P. Huila is a clean, bright (good acidity), sweet tasting coffee with citrus over tones. As you can tell from the name, Colombia Excelso E.P. Huila coffee is grown in the Huila, San Augustin region of southern Columbia. This region has long been famous for producing gourmet quality coffee beans and after one taste we think you will agree. The word excelso refers to the size of the coffee bean and the fact that the beans have been sorted. This sorting assists the roaster to produce a smooth even roast that is evident in the drinking of the coffee.
